My name is Karen. I am a fully qualified & insured Reflexology & Reiki Practitioner.
I studied First Degree Reiki, Usui & Tibetan System of Natural Healing in 2022 & fell in love with it. A year later I completed Second Degree Reiki which completely changed my life. In October 2023 I started my journey to become a Reflexology Practitioner with Jubilee College in Cambridge. I completed the course in September 2024 & now hold a level 5 diploma in Reflexology & level 4 in Anatomy & Physiology.
I hold full membership with both The Association of Reflexologists & The UK Reiki Federation.

What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is an ancient technique & complementary therapy where areas of the feet & hands work as maps to the rest of the body. Gentle pressure applied to these areas stimulates our body's natural healing abilities, helping to restore balance & promote a sense of wellbeing. It can help boost mood, reduce stress & tension, improve sleep & wellbeing, & aid relaxation.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is also a complementary therapy. 'Rei' (Universal Spirit) & 'Ki' (Life Force Energy). Life force energy flows through our body via pathways known as meridians. Our thoughts & feelings can affect this energy flow. Reiki helps clear blockages in these pathways, charging the affected parts with positive energy. No religious beliefs are required for Reiki, just an open mind.
My Approach
My aim is to treat you as a whole, with the intention of creating harmony in both body & mind in a calm, relaxing, non-rushed environment. Each person is different, so effects can vary. Some may feel benefits immediately, while others may need more sessions.
Weekly treatments are recommended at first for the best results. Thereafter you may choose to have a monthly 'top-up' treatment to maintain your body's balance.
Important Note
It is important to note that a highly trained Reflexologist will not diagnose conditions.
I may pick up on areas of imbalance, but this could be due to various reasons and not necessarily an indication of a problem.
Aftercare Tips
After your session, your body will be working to remove toxins & achieve homeostasis.
To support this process its important to stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water, avoid stimulants such as caffeine & alcohol, and try to relax. This will help maximize the benefits of your treatment.
Complementary Therapies & Safety
Both Reflexology & Reiki are complementary therapies & are not intended to replace conventional medicine. Both can be used safely alongside standard healthcare to promote better health. Both therapies are suitable for all ages, but children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Home visits are available in Felixstowe at no extra charge.
Therapies & Fees
During the first visit I will take a confidential consultation to gain relevant information. This will ensure I have a clear idea of which areas you would like me to focus on. Please allow approximately 90 minutes for this.
Reflexology - During the first session I will cover all areas of your feet. This will enable me to 'get to know' your feet (or hands). After the session we will discuss any areas of imbalance I may have found. Before the next treatment, I will draw up a treatment plan especially created for you to focus on the areas discussed.
Reiki - again after the initial consultation, you will be able to just lay back on a comfortable massage table & relax for the duration of the treatment, letting the Reiki energy flow. With your permission I will lay my hands either lightly on or just above the body in several hand placements.
